Gold is more than a name here. It continues a story begun by Brașov’s craftsmen.

Aurum is Latin for gold. The hotel stands in a place shaped by the medieval guilds, close to the centre of the old citadel. The Goldsmiths’ Mini Museum, a preserved medieval wall, symbolic dresses and the Latin names of our spaces carry that memory forward.

Artis takes its name from the Latin word for “artist”. Its kitchen brings European and Asian flavours together, from fresh sashimi and sushi to contemporary dishes, in an elegant, relaxed setting.

Ordo di Artis—“the order of artists”—is a tasting room built around the medieval wall. The cellar is designed for private dinners, tastings, meetings and evenings where food, wine and Brașov’s history meet.

Wines are selected for their profile, aroma and relationship with each dish, from bold reds to refreshing whites.

Etheris · lat. pure air

Above the city.

Etheris—Latin for “pure, luminous air”—brings together the Sky Bar, rooftop and seasonal outdoor pool, open from June to October. Daytime is calm and open to Mount Tâmpa; evenings bring craft cocktails, wines, beer and light plates. A poolside lounge and dry sauna complete the experience.
